Elk and deer are both harvested
at our Long Creek location, a large parcel of private property in Oregon’s
famed Blue Mountains. It is completely surrounded by private property, ensuring
hunters won't be straying in from public land. Hunts are guided only..
The pungent smell of juniper, sage, and bitterbrush
mingle in the warm afternoon breeze with the tangy odor of ponderosa pines,
the dominate tree species, as you hike over the rolling hills and canyons
that make up the property.
Along with trophy elk and deer, the area sports
populations of cougar and antelope. Bring along your camera as well as your
weapon. You just might be able to catch a trophy of another sort entirely!

The elevation is around
2,100 feet so nights stay fairly comfortable during the season. Not too
hot. Not too cold. There are camp sites right on the place but, for the
modern hunter who likes his creature comforts, or the businessman who is
trying to bag a buck in between sales calls, there is a motel in nearby Long
Creek.
There is a special
cow season that takes place between August 1, and March 31, but arraingements
must be made early with the landowner’s draw to take part in this hunt.
Call or write today and we’ll get you set up with some quality
hunting in terrific country with some great, experienced guides. Bag a buck
or not, you’re bound to leave with plenty of stories to tell around your
next campfire.
